Young AI Enthusiasts Gather in Vancouver for ENJOY AI North American Open

VANCOUVER, August 10 - The ENJOY AI North American Open, a global initiative aimed at promoting AI among young people, concluded successfully in Vancouver, Canada, on August 10, 2019. Over 100 young participants from North America and China gathered for two days of intense competition.

Barish Golland, head of the Innovation Education Project at the University of British Columbia (UBC), attended the event and delivered a speech. ENJOY AI is a global STEM and robotics competition specifically designed for young people, initiated and hosted by the non-profit organization Federation of Global Youth Artificial Intelligence. It targets young people aged 5-17 worldwide.

According to the organizers, WhalesBot provides the official competition equipment for ENJOY AI. The company’s AI Module series integrates STEM technologies with innovative building blocks, encourages creativity, and caters to children's natural curiosity, making the competition even more challenging.

Barish Golland emphasized the growing importance of implementing such initiatives among youth. He stated that innovative education holistically enhances children's comprehensive qualities and technological literacy, especially nurturing their crucial creative abilities for future success.
